Words sang by Chester on Linkin Park’s newest track ‘Blackbirds’ from their upcoming album 8-bit Rebellion. (Link to youtube audio+lyrics above)
Woohoo, more Emo-Electronic-Rock-Nu-Metal-Hip-Hop from Linkin Park, but mostly emo though. Not necessarily genre moving stuffs, but if it’s something new from the boys, it’s gotta be fresh materials. I like!
Well in any case, if he’s referring to upgrading or putting out a fresh install (or clean install) of Windows 7, then that first sentence above isn’t necessariy true.
It’s so much easier to use Windows 7, comparing to Windows XP, where even reformatting of hard disks are less painful than before — note that I mention less painful instead of not painful, because the pain of waiting and configuring is still there!
Looking at the bigger picture, Windows 7 has turned out to be really well done (stable) and simple to use (user-friendly) and has captured a major part of my faith in computer systems, even if initially I presented doubt in adopting Windows 7 for the workplace.
Yeah, there’s a new (ours!) printing establishment in Ubi Techlink people~ Great looking prints and prompt services for everyone!
Oh, back to the Operating Systems, or OS debacle, don’t worry Mac OS X, you’re still number 1. Always has and always will be.
Dear Windows 7, you still have major steps to climb onto before it’s anywhere near OS X goodness but, a bit of good news here, you’re getting closer than ever to mimicking OS X! Kudos!
Am I in love with OS X? How many times have I mentioned it now? Twice? Maybe. Anyways..
Go ahead all you IT people, go ahead and use Windows 7 for the office, cos I give it the thumbs up (like it really matters eh?).
So why the sudden change in attitude towards Windows 7 from me?
Well I guess that it’s easier starting over than never to have changed.
Now, if only relationships could be given a ‘fresh install’ too.
Of course you’d have to work hard and probably be able to splurge on a few iphones and buy a few apps from the app store first.
But take nothing away from this.
Signed after she uploaded youtube videos of her grooving to Beyonce’s Irreplaceable and Lady Gaga’s Poker Face, she’s doing fine after all.
Really she’s doing fine.
Hmm, why does the original iphone-using-tricks seem like a wicked marketing campaign? She is gorgeous, sultry, and has the X-Factor to dance and sing after all~
Could all this be hyped up, social media marketing at work?
I mean, she even goes to the extent of explainin the beats and verses and processes, oh even the apps in use to, and that smoldering video editing reeks of MTV-esqueness.
If this really was what it’s all about, will you, if you’re her fan, feel cheated?
Wait, I’m no fan but I’ll take it as it is, and so what if it were true?
Whatever it is, I think she has a great voice, and is able to carry plenty of good tunes, unlike most participants of a Korean Girl Band.
If anyone wants to get a headstart in their life and get balls rolling in their life, they’ll definitely have to be a part of the events industry, where Murphy’s Law is at constant work, and massive proactive workarounds are required.
How do you evade Murphy’s Law, where something that can go wrong, will go wrong?
Honestly? You can’t evade it, that inexplicable laws of physics (or pivot point of excuse??) happens, and all for good reasons, of which the top three are:
It’s a stress test.
It’s a stress test.
It’s a stress test.
Period.
This creates a hellhole situation for any perfectionists who intends to excel within the industry, and where maybe for a few months you’ll probably achieve plenty of really good ‘Perfect Scores’, I’m pretty sure relationships with the people around you will deteriorate as your perfectionist requirements soon becomes untenable.
I’m not a perfectionists who demands perfection, but I give everything I can whenever I take up anything and a task is at hand. This usually leads to screw ups and delays but, like I said, you can’t evade Murphy’s Law.
I’m not Superman.
I’m not your hero.
Quite simply, I’m not perfect.

It’s been quite a while since I’ve last blogged, but that doesn’t mean I’ve stopped entirely, but rather I’ve been putting my mind on hiatus.
My accumulating web projects and workloads are in limbo as new tasks keep takin priority.
My family wonders where I’ve been the whole month as they see me only twice a week, if they’re lucky that i happen to be late for work and they manage to talk to me at home.
My sisters keep requesting my assistance but whenever I’m home, it’s beyond midnight and they’re already too asleep for me to help them.
And you, you know who you are, drifts in and out of my life, demanding things from me like it’s some rightful authority of yours, which I’ve tried, and tried, hindered only by the perfectionists mindset, that demands for a bonfire from a lump of coal.
Maybe I’ve made it all look easy?
Oh yah, I’ve been neglecting e blogosphere for much too long but I’m back!
Oh.. maybe I’ve been neglecting myself for much too long too.
